The Inventorium
Summer 2024 | Volunteer Graphic Design Work
The Inventorium is a project I worked on with D.J. Trischler, an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at The University of Cincinnati’s School of Design at DAAP.
This project is the start of what will be a vending machine on UC campus that provides students an opportunity to showcase their work within a larger community.
The Inventorium will host classroom and individual projects of various disciplines, amplifying diverse voices and perspectives from different colleges within the university.
Logo Early Exploration
I started out very simple but soon expanded to more random and explorative as the word I was working with for my inspiration was "Eclectic". I ended up with forms resembling sticker outlines as the idea calls from the end goal of student projects displayed.
Refinements and Exploration
After finalizing and deciding on one direction, I then further refined the exact letters to make it more legible. It was almost like creating my own typeface, working to make sure they all spoke the same language.
