I redesigning the Firefly Music Festival, a contemporary music festival that was produced by AEG Presents in Dover, Delaware."Firefly" took place in The Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway, a large acre festival ground, over the spans a weekend.

Hand Sketch Exploration
Starting out with very strong firefly imagery was where my mind went to first, it slowly started to get more abstract as I pushed more on what the patterns of a firefly are like. How do they act, what do they do?
Digital Exploration
After feedback I funneled back into the firefly concept. While I felt it visually served my purpose for the Firefly music festival, I ended up going back to a more conceptual feeling for the logo overall.
